Here's my first Skoda, we had fallen on hard times and I had to sell the jag, we found the car pictured below at one of those cheap and cheerful Car lots at Clacton On Sea Essex, the man said £350 and your old motor, the motor in question had cost me about  £120 and only had a few days M.O.T  left so we said what the hell lets go for it, and from that day on I have been well and truly hooked, unfortunately the car has now become a donor for my rapid convertible.

And here it is at one of our club camping weekends, the latest project was to fit a 136 favorit engine so it will run happily on unleaded.

Here it is in my brothers workshop with most of the hard work done

Who said skoda owners aren't adventurous, here is a sixteen hundred twin cam engine in the back of a rapid
